Historic Sugartown's Cheever Barn in the winter, under blue skies and decorated for the holidays with a wreath.
The Cheever Barn, from the Historic Sugartown website:
Typical of Chester County, this 19th-century Pennsylvania Bank Barn was constructed so that hay wagons could enter the upper level from a steep hill, or bank. The barn has large wooden storage tank used to collect water for the animals. With the purchase of the Cheever property, Historic Sugartown renovated the old barn. Today, the barn interprets the rich agricultural heritage of Willistown through an agricultural tool exhibit on its upper floor.
Location: 690 Sugartown Rd. Malvern, PA 19355.
